Finally back in person at the Armory on UES is one of my favorite shows of the year. It consists of mostly one of a kind art pieces that first dazzle their audiences in worldwide showrooms, but then, are hand curated to this show.
All pieces are meant to be for the home. Some are more decor focused while others are meant to be lived on (like lounge chairs and coffee tables) -- however, lightly used.
One of my favorite pieces was a large crystal like coffee table - please, yes, more. It reflected the light in all the right ways.
Also noted were some delicate Italian glass bud vases from 1920’s. So simple, yet so stunning. Hardly do you see pieces from that time period in such simplicity.
However, my favorite part of the show was discovering the publication "How to spend it". God Bless this country.
